The Lighthouse, Sheringham

The Baptist Church in Sheringham was in need of extensive remedial work following reports from structural engineers and the decision was taken to replace the building.  The new building had specific requirements to meet the needs of the current congregation as well as the local community.

A large worship hall was required which would seat 250 people as well as numerous satellite rooms for smaller meetings and Sunday School. A large kitchen was included with café facilities.

One for the main priorities of this project was that the building would have as little environmental impact as was possible within the constraints of the site and the client’s requirements.

The building was finally completed in September 2013 and Sheringham Baptist Church, now renamed “The Lighthouse” has its new home.
