New Chalets, Norfolk Mead Hotel

Located to the rear and side of the Hotel, the brief was to provide 2 new fully accessible self-contained chalets. Set close to mature trees, the design had to cause minimal impact with a no dig construction method. A lightweight timber frame supported on mini pin piles was agreed upon. The walls have been finished in natural larch timber cladding, with doors and windows in a contrasting powder coated aluminium. A black lightweight corrugated tin roof completes the look.
