Porch, in Holt

Located in a secluded part of Holt, the clients approached SMG Architects with the intention of adding a new porch entrance to their contemporary property. The home has a distinctive architectural style and stands proud within the building’s context. The required porch had to incorporate the needs of the clients, such as level access, but still continue the contemporary language of the building. This was achieved with the use of a corresponding material pallet with a touch of uniqueness through the applied form to distinguish the entry point.
