Getting to know the client, it was discovered they had a huge passion for their pet budgies, with the bird cage taking up a significant amount of useable garden space. When designing the new extension, it was evident the budgies needed to be incorporated into the design. 

The single-storey rear extension and internal alterations created an open-planned kitchen/dining area, whilst also future proofing the dwelling with a wet room also created at ground floor. The extension was extended further by constructing a small aviary for their budgies.
